When you hear the word supercar, what’s the first name that pops on your mind? Chances are it was a Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Aventador has been the poster car for car fans since it first came out. We’ve all watched videos of it shooting flames, and have an orgasm when we hear its V12 roar. It was only a matter of time until someone made supercar-inspired watches based on them.

The Excalibur Aventador S. It’s made of carbon fiber, like the one used in the car itself. It has a movement like that of the beefy V-12 engine of the Aventador. Also, it is one of the only watches for men that are completely skeletonized. The watch uses materials like Alcantara and forged carbon that are found on the car. And like the car due to its carbon fiber frame, it feels light on the wrist.

My love for cars all started with Ferrari. I still remember the first time I saw one on the streets of Dubai. I was 5 years old at the time, and still, remember how that car made me feel. It was a bright red F430 Scuderia. I Remember pleading my dad to follow the car just so I could look at it better. I’d lower my windows to hear it’s engine. It was since then, that I became a Ferrari fanboy.
Last year marked the 70th anniversary of Ferrari. To celebrate this, Hublot launched it’s Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph at Baselworld. Hublot has always been known to create beautiful watches for men. Also, Hublot has had a long relationship with Ferrari.
